The 24th: The Race Is On!

Just a quick update on the progress of my unit for the British. I finished my first stand minus basing and can't be more excited. I don't think this is my best work by far but time is of the essence so I'll have to let some things go (for now at least). 6 down, 18 to go and 44 days remaining. This is going to be close.

About THE GUNS OF APRIL

We are a group of wargaming friends who have decided to work on an historical wargaming project each year for the great wargaming convention - AdeptiCon.

For AdeptiCon 2016, we'll be working on a massive Battle of Kursk game. Stay tuned for details of other possible events too.

Sadly, due to real-life circumstances, we had to cancel our AdeptiCon 2015 game.

For AdeptiCon 2014, we put on a smaller, but quite colorful, series of skirmish games set in Alexandria (Egypt) in 1800-01. Based on tales of Napoleon's expedition to the Nile Delta, and the uncovering of the Rosetta Stone. Again, fun was had : )

For Adepticon 2013 we played another "what if?" game based on the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg, 1863. It was also a great deal of fun!

For AdeptiCon 2012, we played out a "what if?" scenario for the Battle of Salamanca, 1812, at it was a lot of fun.
